Farmers Market Mornings

IMG_0163One of my very favorite things to do on  a summer Saturday is head to one of our local farmer’s markets. It feels so good to stock up on fresh flowers, fruits, and veggies for the week ahead and get out into the sunshine. Plus there are always a ton of cute puppies to say hello to and that makes everyone’s morning better.

One of my favorite dishes to make during the summer is caprese salad – tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and a little balsamic vinegar…what could be better? I always make sure to pick up some yummy Arkansas tomatoes while I am there.

This little gingham sundress is definitely one of my favorite purchases of the summer. As someone said at the Farmer’s Market, it gives off “modern day Dorothy” vibes minus the sparkly red shoes.

Since summer in Arkansas can be rather hot and humid (that’s an understatement) I love wearing lightweight dresses most of the time. This one is perfect for those hot days and it can easily be dressed up or down. I just wore it with my converse since we were going to be doing a lot of walking but I have also worn it with wedges when going out to dinner with friends. Plus, I love anything gingham, if you hadn’t noticed from this, this, and this post!

Snag this adorable dress here (on sale right now!)

Have a wonderful day!
