Thanks for stopping by y’all!

Today I am doing a collaboration with Nicolette from the blog Nicoletteamber! We wanted to show everyone our version of a “perfect fall night in.” There is just something about crisp autumn nights that completely warm my heart. I don’t know if it is the feel of sitting by the fire, the chunky sweaters and cozy socks, or the large amounts of hot chocolate I consume, but I ultimately end up feeling sublimely happy, even after a long day.

My parents live on a small lake (okay maybe it’s technically more of a pond, but in our eyes, it’s a lake!) and I love sitting out on their deck by the fire. It is one of my favorite places because everything seems so peaceful and still. Just give me a good book and my favorite leggings and I could sit out there for hours!

On this particular night, I decided to make two of my favorite fall treats: Smore’s hot chocolate and Halloween popcorn. They are both so delicious and very simple to make so I thought I’d share the recipes with you 🙂

Smore’s Hot Chocolate:

Ingredients: Hersheys Chocolate (in a squeeze bottle), Graham cracker crumbs, Cocoa, Hot milk, Marshmallow Creme.

After you have all your ingredients ready, all you need to do is make the hot chocolate according to the directions, then put two dollops of marshmallow creme in. After this, add some of the chocolate syrup in to the hot chocolate and then rim the edge of your cup with it. Then, my favorite part, sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs onto the syrup rimming your cup so they will stick and you’ll get the tastiness of graham crackers every time you take a sip!

This is such a fun take on regular hot chocolate and it is all the more tasty!

Halloween Popcorn:

Ingredients: 1 bag of popcorn, Vanilla almond bark, candy corn, black and orange sprinkles

Once you pop your popcorn, heat up the almond bark according to the directions on the package. While this is melting, add your candy corn in with the popcorn. After your almond bark is completely melted, pour it all over your popcorn/candy corn mix and then add your sprinkles!

This recipe is so simple, but trust me, it’s so addicting as well! Be warned because you will eat the whole bowl in one sitting, at least if you are anything like me!!

I would love to hear from y’all what are some of your favorite fall recipes, outfits, and places for a cozy autumn night in!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

XO,

Emily
