Over this past weekend we had some cooler weather and it made me so excited for fall! In Arkansas, fall usually does not arrive until mid-October, but that doesn’t stop me from daydreaming of over-sized sweaters, leggings, changing leaves, warm fires, and eating a lot of baked goods! Haha. For today’s post I wanted to do a round up of my top ten favorites for fall, from clothes to candles to anything else in between…
Number One: Nasty Gal 360 Pearl Earrings
In my opinion, every girl needs a good pair of pearl earrings, and in the fall they look so cute with a plaid scarf and a cream colored sweater for a simple look. Have y’all seen these Dior look-a-like 360 pearls? I love them and think they are a great twist on the standard pearl earring (plus they are only 18 dollars!)
Leopard is a neutral right?! Love these booties from Shop Elysian boutique in Northwest Arkansas. So fabulous for fall!
I love buying candles from Bath and Body Works, and this particular one is my favorite because it smells oh so delicious and makes a house seem very cozy. Plus, you can’t go wrong with a candle in a cute mason jar!
Okay my mouth is watering as I
speak type. I may be slightly in love with cinnamon rolls (who isn’t?) and I need to make these as soon as possible. Even better idea, someone needs to make these and bring them to me in bed one morning, Anthony are you reading this?
I think vests are a perfect way to spice up any outfit in the fall. This vest is a classic and could go with so many different things. Run, don’t walk, to the J. Crew website, because this will sell out fast!
This plaid shirt from Windsor Store is great for the awkward transition months from summer to fall and can also be worn into winter. Plus, it’s very affordable (only 30!) and that’s always a good thing in my book!
I have been really wanting to get a fall wreath to go on our front door, but have not been able to find one that I liked for under 60 dollars. So in my dilemma, I took to Pinterest and found this burlap DIY wreath tutorial. I think the wreath is adorable and looks easy enough to make, so I am hoping this project does not have to go under my list of failed Pinterest attempts (it’s a very long list).
Gold, glitter, and monograms, oh my! I found these acrylic monogram necklaces on Etsy the other day and I am now obsessed! Gold is my favorite color to wear, especially for fall, and adding in some glitter just makes it that much better! This necklace is available in circle font (show above) and also the classic script font.
Have y’all ever been to SheInside.com? They have very affordable but really unique pieces that you don’t see everywhere else. I love this lace shift dress and the color is perfect for fall! I think it would look great with a pair of boots/booties and some tights. At only 12.99, I’m thinking I need to scoop this dress up!
Essie’s new fall 2014 collection of nail polish has a lot of really great colors, but this one is my favorite. It is called “dress to kilt” and I actually just bought some at
my happy place Target, so I can’t wait to try it out!
Well that about rounds up all of my fall favorites! I am anxious for the weather to get cooler again so I can start trying some of these things out. I’d love to know some of your favorites for fall 2014, so if you’d like, please leave them in the comments below! 🙂
Thanks so much for reading,
Lots of love,
